The size of the bin depends on the size of the job. Measure your waste pile's length, width and height, then multiply to find the cubic measurement. For example: 3.0m length x 1.5m width x 0.8m height = 3.6m³, which means you'll need a 4 cubic metre bin.
As a rough guide based on trailer loads (6x4 trailer):
When in doubt, go one size up. It's better to have extra space than not enough! You can also use our bin size calculator to work out the right size for your project.
We offer skip bins from 2m³ to 30m³. The most popular sizes are:
As a guide, the top rail of the bin is the maximum level you can fill to. Anything above the rim of the bin will be considered overfilled and the supplier will have the right to refuse to collect the bin until the extra waste is removed by you.
As long as you like. The price includes hiring the bin for the total number of days, so there are no surprises! Try a different combination of days - hiring a bin for 1-7 days will always have the same rate, but 7+ days will differ.
This depends on the waste type you select:
General Waste: Household items, furniture, timber, plastics, cardboard, non-hazardous rubbish
Green Waste: Grass clippings, branches, leaves, garden waste
Soil & Dirt: Clean fill, excavation soil
Concrete & Bricks: Heavy materials, pavers, tiles
If you're unsure, contact us and we'll help you choose the right waste type.
It is very important that you do not place restricted, toxic or hazardous waste in the bin. This includes:
Mattresses and tyres can be disposed of by selecting them as add-ons during checkout. These items require special handling, and you can easily add them to your booking with transparent per-item pricing.
Yes! Mattress disposal is available as an add-on service. During checkout, you can select mattress disposal for an additional fee (typically $50 per mattress). Our suppliers will ensure they're disposed of responsibly.
Not a problem - the supplier will weigh the bin after pickup and if you are over the limit, they will charge you the extra weight costs.
